Sustainable concept
for new plant

We already introduced the new Chinese plant “Jintan” in the last KXpress issue and the plans are now more specific. The brand-new modern design of the factory ensures the comfortable and convenient office environment of employees and maximizes the production efficiency.

The highlight of the new plant is that the design has best incorporated a “Sustainable Concept” giving as much natural light to the whole construction, as well as natural ventilation and air flow, minimizing our Carbon Footprint. Tools also assisted with this. The Chinese team has ensured that there is an abundance of trees planted. In the car parking area, canopies will be installed that will carry Solar Panels. These will generate electricity that can be fed direct in to our facility consumption and make it possible to charge electric vehicles, helping not only to save costs but protect the environment.

Progress is on schedule. Next step is to make the application for planning permission, followed by the construction design application, as the final drawings are nearing completion. Once this is completed, then construction begins.
