Earlier this year, training and information was shared about our Global Values. These values focus our purpose and efforts on respecting ourselves, our co-workers, and our customers. The eight core values are our “True North” that we want to exemplify. It can feel difficult to practice these behaviors and make them part of our daily work. KAMAX Americas is dedicated to empowering employees and engaging everyone.
KAMAX Americas has implemented a systematic distribution of these expectations to customize communication. A team leader informs and trains their direct reports. The team leader then enables those direct reports to become the instructors. When the student becomes the teacher, the content is better understood. Most importantly, there is a personality and expression that the direct reports will better understand.
By using cascading training, each employee has a personal understanding of the KAMAX Global Values and how it applies to them. An example of the differences is seen between our header operators and the shipping team. Our header operators placed posters on job boards. The shipping team has written the values on a handball. Each day they toss the ball and choose a value of the day.
The objective is for all employees to understand, practice, and teach the KAMAX Values and KAMAX Competencies. The KAMAX Americas team is diligently implementing and communicating our values in unique and personal ways to use them in all areas of the business.
