Ann Shellenbarger!
Formerly Vice President of Finance and Operations at Eypex Corporation, Ann joined KAMAX in June. She will drive the regional financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in her new role as CFO for the Americas. We wanted to dig beneath the surface and get to know Ann a little better:

Hi Ann, we´re curious, what do you like most about numbers?
Numbers have more than just a face value. They provide:
- Insight into areas where strategies are needed.
- Areas of strength and weakness.
- The numbers that matter most to drive performance.
What needs to be done in the region?
In recent years, the North American region has experienced significant staff turnover and the loss of tribal knowledge in some manufacturing areas. As a result, some processes and procedures still need to be transferred to successors through these changes.
How are you addressing these challenges?
It is crucial to be a visible leader in the organization. As an excellent communicator and influencer, I can support KAMAX by fostering a culture of financial discipline and providing decision support in critical areas.
I am getting involved with the various departments to address Lapeer's challenges to see how I can best support the team. Based on my experience, I assist our manufacturing and supply chain teams with strategies to re-engineer procedures and workflow processes. I also use my expertise to address risk areas to protect the organization as a team.
What drives you - professionally and personally
I am motivated by leading a team and coaching others. There is a great sense of accomplishment in working together and strategizing to improve processes, finding ways to solve problems, or working and completing a difficult task for the betterment of the organization.
In my personal life, I am driven by my family. With the love of my husband and children, my Goldens, I know I can do anything!
