KAMAX Awards 2021
The results
Even though the year 2021 lies a bit behind us, we still want to draw attention to the winners of the KAMAX Awards once again. For the first time, all employees worldwide were able to nominate, vote and win – in line with the new motto: For all of us! The previous awards were almost exclusively linked to the operational performance of an entire plant.
By November of last year, we received more than 120 nominations from almost all locations worldwide. A jury of experts from the KAMAX regions in Europe, America, and Asia then made a preliminary selection of 30 nominees – around ten for each of the three award categories. In December, all employees worldwide were then able to vote for their favorite in the areas of efficiency, growth and for the special award. To ensure fair voting, the jury pointed out that votes for one’s own location were not welcome. Although many employees nevertheless voted for colleagues from their own plant, these votes were rated less in the final tally so that they had less influence. Otherwise, large operations with a bigger staff would have had a clear advantage.
In total, hundreds of employees took part in the voting. All nominees received a large number of votes, which is also proof that they have proved an outstanding performance that is appreciated by their colleagues. In the end, however, there could only be one winner per award category. Congratulations!
