Time for Thanks

“These last few years have been difficult times for all of us, with the Covid pandemic causing fear and uncertainty for all of us. Now, if anything was missing, we have the „cowardly“ invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which will undoubtedly provoke a major humanitarian and economic crisis in Europe. On a personal note, I would like to thank my wife and daughter for all the support they have given me during this difficult time, adapting and supporting me at all times in the problems that have arisen. Also, in general, I would like to thank the Heat Treatment team for the good adaptation they have had with the 5th shift, optimising family and work balance. I would also like to highlight the understanding and empathy shown, supporting other sections at specific times, in need of personnel as a result of the absences produced mainly by Covid. In particular, I would like to thank Jose Moreno and Alberto Zuriaga for their efforts, supporting the Heat Treatment operators in production without forgetting their management and planning to guarantee the production plans.”

“Team spirit and mutual trust are what make a good team, and a lot also depends on the team leader. We can’t imagine a better shift leader than Dimitrij Fischer. He always has an open ear for his colleagues and would, in any matter, drop everything just to help us. If we have a problem, we can always rely on him to be approachable. Dimitrij has developed at KAMAX from a temporary worker to a team leader, and simply his way of working – consistent, goal-oriented and calm – motivates all of us in his team. At the same time, he has our backs, stands up for us and, for example, surprises us with iced tea in the summer when we’re working in the heat. That deserves a big thank you!“
