Operation Bardejov clear for take off
The new plant in Bardejov (Slovakia) successfully passed the important IATF audit at the end of October. The audit lasted nearly three days and resulted in the best result of a new plant in the history of KAMAX!
Obtaining the IATF certificates is above all a significant signal for our customers and partners. It confirms that we as a company follow strict norms and standards in the area of management and operation of the company. Only three slight deviations were noted by the auditors: an inaccurate tolerance level on one product, a reference measuring device for an internal calibration was not documented, and the concentration of the corrosion inhibitor during heat treatment was slightly out of range. The run-up to the certification process had taken a lot of effort, but it also impelled each department in the production, where everyone wanted to deliver a very good result. For over a month now, the plant in Slovakia has been able to ship parts to most customers without hurdles. In 2022, the task is to fully integrate the operation into the European production, as well as to relocate the small series and small dimension ranges there.
